ABOUT creek’n Tree backwater tours

About Us.

Born and raised on Caddo Lake, Capt. Steve turns local knowledge into an unforgettable tour, guiding you through hidden bayous and cypress groves most visitors never find.

Capt. Steve Sullivan has been running the backwaters of Caddo Lake for over a half century. The adventure of growing up on this lake fishing and hunting gives a perspective and insight over the decades to cater to any specific touring needs, whether its photography or just cruising around, it’s worth it.

The majesty of Caddo Lake is beyond comparison. There are no “bad tours” on Caddo Lake. Anyone who has never visited Caddo could just take a short tour down the main river and never see the other 99% of this grand estuary and still realize the aggrandized and unique beauty that Caddo has to offer. The associated backwaters and swamps bring another level of a breathtaking understanding of how God’s grand creation is put together. The “brushes with nature” when you see: bald eagles, ospries, turtles, alligators, beavers, nutria, and the interaction of the entire ecosystem and balance that encompasses this amazing lake. After experiencing Caddo for the first time, most leave knowing that they have witnessed something magical and unique in the world – which it certainly is.

“I’m blessed to have grown up on Caddo Lake. I am further blessed to be able to share its hidden beauties and wonders.
This brings me joy.”
